"Arizona Western College has had the pleasure of working with Propeller Communications on several occasions within the past year. As the Public Relations and Marketing Director, I felt it was critical for us to take our strategic marketing to the next level in order to better define our brand. Sue Kirtland, Propeller Communications President, facilitated a Strategic Branding workshop for our campus in June 2005. During this workshop, Sue led a team of district-wide faculty and staff members, as well as students and community members, through what I consider the most critical marketing fine-tuning that we have ever experi-enced. In this one-day workshop, Sue skillfully led us through an exciting and eye-opening journey. What has resulted from this expert guidance is a transformed brand that now best communicates our products and services to our two-county district. We have used this knowledge to develop a new district-wide tagline, a new recruitment view book, as well as a two-year enrollment campaign that includes outdoor, radio, newspaper, television, and direct mail advertising. I am grateful that we have learned so much from Propeller Communications. This was exactly what Arizona Western College needed to move our strategic communications to the next level.
As a follow-up project, we contracted with Propeller to develop and distribute our fall 2005 enrollment campaign. I thoroughly loved working with Sue on this. Despite a short production timeline, Sue and her team developed an effective campaign that resulted in a 4% increase of full-time student equivalents. These radio and television spots were fantastic and lauded throughout our community. I personally appreciated how easy it was to work with Propeller on such a complex production project.
