We collectively gain a clear understanding of the true values of
the brand and the development of a preliminary visual translation
of those values begin to crystallize. We also allow every participant
to provide input into the brand and pre-approve visual direction
of future implementation. This eliminates "designer guess work"
and subjectivity from subsequent implementation projects, thereby
saving time and money.
Custom branding workshops are based on size from 12 to 30 participants.
Verbal and Visual Brand Positioning Workshop
In order to develop a concise set of perceptions that accurately
reflect the true values of an institution, the workshop is conducted
with a variety of key brand stakeholders (students, alumni, faculty
& staff, and community partners). This team-building workshop
includes interactive verbal and visual exercises that identify the
many key attributes associated with the institution and the
elements that will make up the institution's desired perceptions.
By the end of the workshop, a brand positioning statement and
associated visuals would be developed and approved by all
decision makers. Information gained during this workshop is then
evaluated, and forms the basis of a preliminary visual vocabulary
that will reflect and amplify the desired perceptions when applied
to communications.
